Hope you will join us for a relaxing Juke Joint Style evening with a soul food potluck, dancing and performances throughout the evening and an open jam from midnight - 2 a.m. Dress casual or in your favorite period clothes.
In the old days of the Mississippi Delta there were shacks way out in the woods called Juke Joints - where on Saturday nights people would relax and cut loose from the burdens of the long work week. They would dress up in their Sunday best and dance to great live music till sunrise.
